Collection of satirical memoirs published by Beaumarchais between 1773 and 1774 in the form of false reports and pleadings of the trial which then pitted him against Judge Goezman. These memoirs, which mix dialogues and interrogations, entertained the whole of Paris, including Madame Du Barry, and were played almost everywhere in the cafés and on the boulevards, because they constitute a formidable comedy in which the lie ends up being revealed.
