Michel Bertrand will turn two years later to contemporary art in which he will experience some success. Catherine Millet will classify him among the major artists of the Montpellier region alongside Gérard Garouste and Vincent Bouliès. Six of his works are part of the collections of the Center Georges Pompidou.
