Apart from the botanical considerations which were Buchoz's specialty, we find there all kinds of recipes for the preparation of chocolate or flavored tobacco. There is also the recipe for "Buc'hoz water", maceration of tobacco leaves in white wine that the author proposes to use as an antiseptic.
