It consists of letters between Calonne and Necker, a letter addressed to Louis XVI and a praise of the former minister.

A work with bold and polemical theories for the 18th century, on the marriage of priests, which was condemned to be destroyed by laceration and burned by a judgment of the Court of Parliament in 1758.
