This is one of the major texts of the philosopher and theologian Nicolas Malebranche (1638-1715). This philosophical treatise deals with the loss of reason, caused by many errors, including that of original sin, and the faith that allows us to recover it. He is both the heir to the thought of Descartes and the heir to the thought of Saint Augustine.
