Two volumes 8vo (200x120 mm), xlviii-488 pages / xii-436 pages. binding : nineteenth-century quarter sheep, flat spine, title and volume number in gilt on lettering-pieces. Rubbed. Few foxings. The margin of the page 373 of the second volume is cut without loss of text.
Louis-René Desbois de Rochefort (1750-1786) is a French doctor, "he shone as a professor, although he was not very methodical in the exposition of his doctrines, and little punished in his speech, he did not publish any work of during his lifetime. " (Medarus).
This posthumous work is compiled by Corvisart who also signs the praise of Desbois.
Our edition follows the original and corrects the title page which indicated 1779 instead of 1789.
