Jean Gabriel Peltier was a journalist, at first revolutionary, he distances himself and publishes a monarchist review (the Act of the Apostles). The day of August 10, 1792 forced Jean-Gabriel Peltier to flee to Great Britain. From London, he continued his anti-revolutionary publications, notably in the Ambigu.
