Manuscript course of physics, in a small, tight handwriting typical of the early 18th century. The manuscript follows the tradition of Aristotelian and Thomistic philosophy which was taught in the form of a Compendium philosophiae in seminaries and theological faculties. It is divided into four parts : De corpore illius que affectionibus. - De motu. - De staticâ. - De mundo praecipuis que ejus partibus. The illustration consists of an engraving (allegory of physics) in frontispiece, and 33 figures drawn in ink in the text. The part dealing with machines and mechanics is particularly detailed.
