Niels Erik Nørlund (1885-1981) was a Danish mathematician, professor at the University of Copenhagen and a corresponding member of the Institute of France. His Leçons sur les Séries d'Interpolation (Lessons on Interpolation Series), edited by René Lagrange were published in the "Collection of Monographs on Function Theory" directed by Émile Borel.
