Rare work of Pierre Jean Fabre (1588-1658) French doctor and alchemist. This Pharmacopoea Chymica is one of his most famous works. He gives all his science very inspired by the work of Paracelsus.
There is a mix of rhinoceros horn, wolf meat, rose tincture ...
In principle this edition is followed by a second part with a separate title page in which the author reports his consultations in Castelnaudary. In our copy only the first part on the pharmacopoeia is present.
