Large crossing-out on the title page. the page 197 is browned and formerly repaired in the margin. Head and tail of spine worn, corners bumped with loss of leather on the upper corner of the first cover.
Hyacinthe-Théodore Baron (1686-1758), is a French doctor, dean of the faculty of medicine of Paris in 1730.
He gives us here a Parisian pharmacopoeia, which was to compete with the pharmacopoeias of Montpellier, the faculty of competing medicine.
