A work on astrology dedicated to Kenelm Digby, it was refuted in a book by Placet (La Superstition du Temps, 1667).
A leaf of text is missing from our copy, as is the copy from the Lyon library, the copy from the Wellcome collection and one of the rare copies sold at auction in 2017.
