[A LA TOUR EIFFEL] VERNE, Le Rayon-vert, [v. 1893]

A rare copy in this shade of green on the "Eiffel Tower" binding, produced for Sanard, Derangeon & Cie, the publishers who had acquired part of the Hetzel stock.
We have identified only one other similar copy at the Weissenberg Museum sale, one of the largest collections of Jules Verne books, with the expert noting, "According to Éric Weissenberg, this copy was the only known one in this shade.".
